Our 61st Season is fully Pay-What-You-Will
East West Players is committed to making theater accessible to everyone in the communities whose stories we tell. As part of our Pay-What-You-Will ticket model for the 61st season, we invite you to choose the ticket price that’s right for you.
We voice the stories of the Asian American community, and in order to serve those communities, we’re removing financial barriers to attendance. Pay-What-You-Will pricing asks those who routinely pay fair market value for theater tickets to consider choosing that amount, which helps sustain our work and subsidize cheaper tickets for those who need them. If you need to pay less, you can; tickets are available for as little as $15, $25, or $40 per seat.
How does your ticket make a difference?
Every dollar you spend on a ticket goes directly toward supporting the artists, creatives, and staff who bring Asian American stories to life on our stage.
The true cost of producing a show like WIVES is $63.80 per ticket if every seat were filled.
For KRISTINA WONG #FOODBANKINFLUENCER, it’s $43.09 per ticket with a full house.
And to fully cover both production costs and the administrative work that keeps East West Players running, each ticket would need to be over $400.
We share these numbers to invite your partnership in sustaining our mission. Every dollar you contribute, at any level, makes a difference. When you choose your ticket price, you’re doing more than reserving a seat: you’re helping us pay our artists fairly, compensate our staff, and create new opportunities for Asian American theater makers. Your generosity directly sustains our mission and our community.

Additional Access Programs
EWP Emerging Artists Membership
Sign up for the EWP Emerging Artists Membership, our new program for theater lovers ages 18–35! Membership is free, and you’ll unlock $20 orchestra tickets for yourself and a guest (your plus one can be any age) to every East West Players mainstage production. Just provide your email and date of birth at signup. This is the best way for new audiences to experience East West Players and become part of the next generation of our community.
Discounts for Educators and Students
If you are an educator and you’re interested in bringing a group to any of our performances please contact the box office via email: boxoffice@eastwestplayers.org, or visit our Group Tickets page for more information.
For individual students between the ages of 18-35, consider signing up for our EWP Emerging Artists Membership. Individual students ages 13-19 may be eligible for the Teen Tix program.
