About the Play
Meet Tam Tran, a UCLA senior who usually prefers to stay behind the camera, but finds herself thrust into the spotlight when her undocumented status draws her into the fight for the DREAM Act. With her fearless best friend Cinthya by her side, Tam’s quiet life changes overnight as she’s called to testify before Congress in Washington, DC.
Reservations are required for this free performance, which is presented as part of the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs’ citywide 2026 Lunar New Year celebration. The event will also feature a post-show talkback and complimentary snacks, with beverages available for purchase from Post 43. Free parking for up to 80 cars is available on site, which is also just a 5-minute walk from the Hollywood & Highland Metro station.
