A Tony Award Winning Comedy

NOW - October 11, 2009

A HIT! ~ Entertaining expertise ~ All three actors are estimable, batting lines and reactions between each other like Wimbledon champs. ~ Isaac leaves no beat unstruck and keeps the tone edgy. ~Capable work of director Alberto Isaac ~ Laudable trio of actors. ~ The light-fingered EWP production has no trouble locating the humor. ~ Chau's honey-toned zingers & Yu's emotionally nuanced deadpan almost steals the show. ~ Reza is undeniably an adept stylist.

- David C. Nichols, Los Angeles Times

GO! ~ Scintillating ~ Brilliance ~ Crisp & Smart ~ White is hilariously passive-aggressive ~ ~ Chau is cheerfully upbeat ~ Yu is the show-stopper.

- Paul Birchall, LA Weekly

A wealth of rich material ~ insightful & charismatic actors ~ Isaac and his cast hit all the script's high notes ~ Executed to near perfection.

- Jeff Favre, LA Downtown News

Clever philosophic farce ~ Wit & Elegance ~ Isaac gives it an appropriate stylish and sophisticated production ~ Unpretentious precision & considerable flair ~ Chau is urbane and confident ~ White radiates malice ~ Yu lends inarticulate charm to the long suffering Yvan.

- Neal Weaver, Backstage

Witty ~ Simple Complexity ~ Invokes Laughter ~ Chau and White are money ~ The play appeals to both the higher spheres of mental superiority as well as the basic urges of physical domination. ~ The play contains value that money can’t purchase.

- Jordan Ikeda, The Rafu shimpo

Imagine: A 4' x 5' white canvas, painted with fine white diagonal lines.  Is this art?  Serge believes it is and is willing to pay 200 grand for it.  When Marc flat out laughs at the ridiculousness of the situation, a third party is brought in for an objective opinion.  Yvan agrees with both.  When three opinions clash, three friendships are put to the test.  At the breaking point, Serge hands Marc a felt tip pen and dares him: "Go On."
