A.C.T.S. is a career development program hosted by East West Players to give working actors, directors, writers access to workshops, casting notices, networking opportunities and career advice. An excellent program for young artists trying to break their way into the industry as well as keeping working artists in the loop of the industries latest news. Our Actors Conservatory offers a comprehensive theatre arts curriculum for those who are honing their craft as professional actors as well as those seeking personal expression. Classes range from beginning to advance and include classes such as The Actor's Toolbox, Voices, Movement for actors, Musical Theatre, Misner Technique, Fundamentals in acting and Scene Study.

Created in the early-1970s, Theatre for Youth was designed to promote cultural understanding and racial tolerance among youth. Today, the basic philosophy remains the same and the program has grown and developed to meet the ever-increasing diversity in our society. The programs we offer illustrate the incredible wealth of the Asian Pacific American cultural experiences we have come to appreciate in Southern California.
Our Literary programs helps nurture new and developing works that speak to the Asian American experience through writing classes, workshops, playwriting contests and open submissions.
