East West Players welcomes the help of volunteers for its everyday administrative business, production-related operations, and special events. Volunteers should be able to work well with others, take direction from staff supervisors, and be willing to provide friendly assistance to East West Players patrons and supporters. Some volunteer opportunities require specific stagecraft experience. Check out our volunteer opportunities below, and contact us at info@eastwestplayers.org or (213) 625-7000 to sign up.

Volunteer ushers are needed for every performance of East West Players’ mainstage shows. Responsibilities include stuffing inserts into programs, helping patrons to their seats, and cleaning up after the show, among others. Volunteers get to see the show the day they usher. The production schedule varies but performance times are Thursday to Saturday at 8 PM and Saturday to Sunday at 2 PM. Ushers are expected to be at the theater one hour before show time.
